“what comes after the 12”
“1”
“no, after12!”
Good one. Maye the best line of the episode.
Whenever someone says “So?” I’m tempted to reply “Sew buttons!”
haha that was good too!
Bart was talking about 13, apparently.
‘Xactly.
Guys, we are in the summer; where is the commentary on season 12? I want to see exactly why you hate seasons 12 through 19, and you get nine month breaks between seasons.
What would the point be? Charlie and the others looked in depth at Seasons 8 through 11 because that was a period of steady decline, and they wanted to analyze it and see when and how things stopped working. Season 12 to the present is basically just a plateau of awfulness. Crazy Noises for those seasons would most likely just be “This sucks, that sucks, it all sucks, next episode.”
Besides, Mike already picked apart the crud seasons at Me Blog Write Good. And he did a stellar job, if you ask me.
I’d like to see more DVD commentary reviews. I think it’s funny to read about the ZS writers forcing themselves to laugh at the bad jokes, kissing the celebrity guest’s butt and telling stories that have nothing to do with the episode.
“Compare and Contrast” articles are good too.
Y’know, it’s been a long time since their last Crazy Noises, and frankly… I don’t miss it. Whatever form that discussion took at first doesn’t seem much different from what we’re doing now, or what all of us implied did in Charlie’s reviews. I mean, it’s just debating (and mostly agreeing) on different aspects of this and that, sparingly comparing them to whatever was already done in the originals, etc. Maybe it was new at when they just started it x years ago, but now… I dunno if I see them discussing whatever ZS season remains like that, I for one wouldn’t be interested anymore.
Don’t get me wrong thou, Charlie posts many interesting stuff annually, just that without the usual routine, I guess only the hardcorest of the fans remain.
“Did you hear something?”
“No.”
“Hmm. Did I?”
“I don’t know.”
