   We need a half-minute long exposition of people throwing dead bodies in there, with some still alive, and seagulls pecking Moe, or it won’t be funny. Lots of seagulls and Moe should cry.

   I remember quoting the “I bet you could throw a dead body in there and no one’d ever find it” line when I was out in the bush for a school camp in 1993. I would have been about 11 years old then. I’m sure whoever I said the line to thought I was a weirdo.

   My favorite part is after this, with Bart telling Otto that he’s going to jump the gorge. Otto sternly tells Bart that, as the only adult here, he should say something about it: “Cool!”
