Bea, What Was Birth Like?

New Bea

“Homey, I think someone is saying hello.” – Marge Simpson

Mad Jon’s lovely and talented Mrs. gave birth to a bouncing, baby Beatrice this morning.  This is what he texted me:

“It’s a boy!  And what a boy!”

Mother and daughter are both doing well, and I also have an artist’s rendition of Jon right now:

And Maggie Makes Three12

Congratulations, parents.  You gave your little girl the worst possible birthday.  Merry Christmas.

  1. Hopefully she won’t become a spoiled brat & sue Santa when all she gets, instead of the gifts she asked for, she only gets an orange ;).

  2. Hey Mad Jon and Mrs. Mad Jon!

    Congratulations!
Wishing you and your family nothing but the very best as you start this new and exciting chapter in your lives!

    Best regards,
    Frank

  3. Mad Jon, so you’ve ruined your life. Did you also tear off your hair when you found out she was pregnant?

    1. Remember: it’s only the best day of your life if there’s also an hour-long episode of “Mama’s Family” coming on after a big sports game.

  4. Congrats to the new little family :) I had a baby girl on the 22nd and named her a ‘traditional’ name also: Cecily. She’s currently in the hospital with jaundice next to a premature baby named Babi Honey. Yes, that’s the kind of area I live in; people call their kids Babi.
