For the longest time when I first watched “The Simpsons” I kept thinking Smithers and Bart were related in some way (mainly because of the hair), or that Smithers was a grown-up Bart (where scenes involving Smithers were glimpses into the future or something).
Keep in mind I must’ve been six at the time.
It wouldn’t surprise me if the Zombie Simpsons writers pulled that kind of crap. Hey, maybe that’s where they’re getting their ideas: from six-year-olds.
