Being 7 when this aired I had no idea it was a Cheers reference but naturally it doesn’t matter unlike these days. Great clip and catchy song too.
Surprised he didn’t do the whole song.
I was a kid at the time too, and I think I glanced at a couple Cheers episodes, but didn’t find them interesting, because kid. But even then I didn’t recognize it was a parody of that theme.
