An ongoing ramble by Charlie Sweatpants . .
I was pretty young when I first saw this episode, and that whole ‘crime doesn’t pay’ bit has always stuck with me for some reason.
And not even as a joke – as some inexplicable “well, that’s life” comfort for tales of corruption and billion-dollar-thieves.
If I remember correctly, they blended a Bart-gets-a-job episode with the one where mob guys aren’t the moronic goons as they portray them today.
