haha, I’m looking at a message board with a thread about the FXX marathon and somebody in it described this blog as “like someone’s 400 pg. suicide note because the simpsons Got Bad”.
you suck, dude.
This site accepts neither responsibility nor liability for things said about it elsewhere on the internet. By reading this out loud, you have waived any legal responsibility on our part in perpetuity throughout the universe.
It’s still legal in Mississippi though.
You can get legal help from a friend of my family. Works for free. No Money down!
No, money down!
hee hee!
Which message board was it? Sounds like something SomethingAwful.com would do.
While Something Awful might make a remark of that caliber, the majority of goons basically feel the same about The Simpsons and Zombie Simpsons as this blog. (Up until a month or so ago, I was a frequent visitor of the forums so I’m not BSing you.)
This site, at least for me anyway, is more about remembering the good times rather than focussing on the bad IMO.
I’m with you, Jordan. It’s about trying to keep the good days in mind, not letting ZS become what I remember as TS.
Yeah, this site is only negative toward the newer eps. Plenty of its articles do some quality analysis of the classic episodes and what makes them great. It’s also one of the very few sites that has newsfeeds on Simpsons fandom at large.
Also wouldn’t call it a “suicide note” by any stretch. That would suggest Charlie talks about his personal life, which he doesn’t. It’s all about the show and chronicling its decline into oblivion. Not to mention its more academic in its approach to what makes the newer episodes shitty rather than some “this sucks” rant.
But Charlie does talk about how he drowns his sorrows in booze when tolerating the bad episodes and excess drinking does lead to death (whether it’s booze or water, believe it or not). So, unless Charlie is in AA over this, then I have to agree with them on that.
The other day I was so desperate for a beer I snuck into a football stadium and ate the dirt under the bleachers.
I cast thee OUT!
Lol, I stand corrected :)
