Yay, my favorite episode. Season four had a lot of good episodes. They could have ended the show there so it goes out on a high note. Krusty Gets Kanceled felt very series finale-esque to me.
RIP, good lady.
There’s something weird about this part. When Bart and Lisa drag Selma off the bench, they head for the Little Land of Duff Ride (the It’s A Small World ride where the robot kids sing “Duff Beer for me/Duff Beer for you/I’ll have a Duff/You have one too” ad nauseum) and its absurdly long line, but after Bart assures Selma that a ride with a line this long has to be good, we whip pan to reveal that it’s the complaints line. Was this a writer mistake, or a really subtle bait and switch joke that flew over my head for all these years.
Get bent.
