This episode only gets better with age.
Oh, I miss the days when Hutz was a sleazy crooked lawyer ready for anything in order to grab some mullah. Then they turned him into a desperate loser only a moron would go with. And then they just scratched him off.
Not a single side character left in the show today would still compare to him, Troy McClure, or anyone they cut out in double digit seasons for that matter.
I agree that no other characters left compare to him or McClure, but I don’t think Hutz ever went downhill. “Realty Bites” is one of the best in Season 9 precisely because they found a way to use his failure as a lawyer and still get him involved.
