Man, call me too soft, but I’ve never been fond of this scene. I like the joke and all, but I just can’t stand the way it’s presented. Maybe it has something to do with showing Homer in almost too much pain, or Lisa just egging her dad on without seemingly any concern for her dad’s health (see what I mean about the softness?).
Still a great episode for Season 8, though. I still love Little Lisa’s Animal Slurry.
