This and the scene of Principal Skinner sharpening pencils at 10 o’clock at night really encapsulates how hilariously boring his character is, though I do like the earlier jokes about Skinner trying to be a good principal while dealing with his elderly mother, his Vietnam flashbacks (who could forget him screaming “JOHNNY!” over the PA on Valentine’s Day and Bart thinking he broke his brain), and students like Bart.
Punctual, science-driven and ordinate Skinner fits perfectly well with a former army guy coming back home and eventually teaching the children at school.
Stupid Skinner who lets kids push him around in a potato bag, or too self-contemptuous Skinner who is so afraid of losing his job or reputation that he goes and does illegal stuff, on the other hand, isn’t Skinner anymore. It’s Zombie Skinner. Fuck him.
you misspelled “sitting”
Fixed, thanks.
