YES!! I have only found this website tonight, everything I feel about this show has been excellently articulated in your manifesto – kudos to you sir, kudos!
I look forward to reading through the archives.
Sincerely,

Thanks; glad you found us.
One of my favorite characteristics of Homer Simpson, as mentioned in this quote, imply that he’s a bit of a mooch, taking things like light bulbs, pens, spilled sugar, etc. whenever he can. It’s also funny that he’s enough of a mooch that people have to tell him not to do so; Patty and Selma aren’t the only characters on The Simpsons that I can imagine saying something like this to Homer.
Hey, he didn’t steal that copper wire. He just thought they were throwing it out.
Not to mention hotel tables, Skinner’s necktie (souvenir).
“hello, what’s this? wire hangers? expired medications? old newspapers?! Okay Homer stay calm, just quietly get this stuff inside your house”
“Well, friend, you’re going back where you came from…The curb in front of Flanders’ house.”
